Marché aux Puces Day Trip January 12, 2019

This tour is for the diamond hunters and truffle pigs amongst us with exceedingly good taste! For those thrilled by the hunt, and for lovers of antiques, art, furniture and good design, this curated day tour of the Marché aux Puces de St-Ouen, is for you.

Starting at 10am, we make our way north to the outskirts of Paris in the comfort and safety of a private coach. We start our day with strong coffee, a buttery croissant or two, and an orientation to the acres upon acres that comprise this colossal mecca of treasures. Then, we cut through the fat, straight to some of the best sources and dealers with whom we’ve cultivated deep relationships. Enjoy the conversation, the dynamism, and listen to the stories surrounding their latest acquisitions. Midday, we will break bread over a delicious lunch at the inspiring Ma Cocotte (Philipe Starck’s chic outpost), to share stories, our finds, and to fuel up for the alleyways and hidden gems that lie ahead. ​Later, before heading back to central Paris, we will stop to rest our feet, and quench our thirst at one of our favorite wine bars. Here, the deep tones of gypsy jazz, mix with laughter and friendship becoming the best “find” of the day… Santé!
